small percent of people experience: abnormal dreams, abnormal thinking, abnormal vision, anxiety, carpal tunnel syndrome, changes in sex drive, changes in weight, constipation, diarrhea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, fever, flu syndrome, gas, headache, hives, indigestion, infection, itching, joint pain, loss of appetite, nausea, nervousness, pain rash, runny nose, sleeplessness, sore throat, stomach pain, sweating, swelling, vomiting weakness, and weight loss
while on generic prozac. |

Notify your doctor if you experience:
severe allergic reactions (including rash, hives, difficulty breathing, tightness in the chest, swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); bleeding; bizarre behavior; fever; mental or mood changes; pounding in the chest; seizures; suicidal thoughts or behaviors; tremors; and/or worsening of depression.
Generic Prozac may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or light headedness. Alcohol, hot weather, exercise, and fever can increase these effects. To prevent them, sit or stand up slowly. Also, sit or lie down at the first sign of dizziness, lightheadedness, or weakness.
Avoid drinking alcohol or taking other medications that cause drowsiness
(i.e. sedatives, tranquilizers) while taking this medication.
Do not breast
feed while taking this drug without
consulting with your doctor.
