medicines. Glyburide is a sulfonylurea type anti-diabetic medicine.

from the pancreas, which in turn helps to lower your blood sugar
levels.
Generic Glucovance is a combination drug of sulfonylurea (glyburide)
and biguanide (metformin) antidiabetic. The glyburide works by

lowering blood glucose. It may also help lower blood glucose by
other actions on fat and muscle cells. The metformin works by
lowering blood glucose (sugar) by reducing the amount of sugar
