What is Metoclopramide used for? - The generic drug
Metoclopramide Hydrochloride (met-oh-kloe-pra'mide) is used
in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It is also used
to treat symptoms of a certain digestive problem in diabetic patients
(diabetic gastroparesis) and to prevent nausea and vomiting associated with
emetogenic cancer chemotherapy.
This med is a gastrointestinal stimulant and
anti-nauseant. It works by increasing the movement of the stomach and

What are the Common Side Effects of
Generic Reglan? - They include:
decreased energy, diarrhea, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, nausea,
restlessness, tiredness, and trouble sleeping.
Drug Interaction Problems: There are certain drugs that cause negative side effects when taken with
this drug, which include: (1) Cisapride or Droperidol because
side effects, such as muscle rigidity, increased heart rate, and altered

Important Notes About Use of this GERD
Medication: (1)
Metoclopramide Hydrochloride may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These
effects may be worse if you take it with alcohol or certain medicines. Use
